DNN4Less' world-class web hosting creates an excellent way for clients to save more. But did you know that DNN4Less services are also entirely green?

DNN4Less is part of United Internet’s Global Green Initiative whose renewable resources will save 30,000 tons of CO2 per year.

By being green-conscious, individuals and organizations alike can ensure that we not only stop destroying our environment, but actually see things improve for future generations. Below is a list of ways that DNN4Less ensures that we do our part to preserve the planet and stay green:

At DNN4Less we not only look to use clean energy, but we also aim to use as little energy as possible.

DNN4Less uses highly efficient power supplies with less than 20% heat loss and we omit any unnecessary components within our servers.

DNN4Less now utilizes wind, water and solar power in accordance with the Renewable Energy Certification System (RECS).

DNN4Less purchases Green-e Energy Certified renewable energy. Green-e certifies renewable energy that meets environmental and consumer protection standards that it developed in conjunction with leading environmental, energy and policy organizations.

Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF)
DNN4Less’ Data Center works in cooperation with the Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF). The energy purchased for the facility is enough clean energy to power at least 300 US homes for one year.

Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs)
DNN4Less purchases RECs(Renewable Energy Certificates) to offset 100% of the energy usage. The majority of the RECs will be sourced from the Bowersock Mills and Power Company’s hydroelectric facility in Lawrence, Kansas. This hydroelectric facility is certified low impact by the Low Impact Hydro Institute (LIHI).
